How Be Noteworthy put its founder inside a vending machine

Be Noteworthy is an AI interview platform designed to help founders turn their ideas and experiences into LinkedIn content that sounds like them. Its launch needed to demonstrate the power of a distinctive founder voice in a way people could experience for themselves. On 3 June 2026, Be Noteworthy and Arcade Strange welcomed 150 guests to The Pump House in Shoreditch for The Power Hour: an evening of immersive technology, DJs, experimental cocktails and carefully controlled chaos during SXSW London week. At the centre of the launch was Tech Bro Henry—an amplified AI version of Be Noteworthy founder Henry McIntosh, living inside Polly, our personality-driven AI vending machine. Guests spoke directly to Tech Bro Henry and had to talk their way into a drink. Around the courtyard, Homer poured beer using guests’ brainwaves while DJs, cocktails and the rest of the Arcade Strange machines kept the evening moving. The launch turned Be Noteworthy’s core idea into a live experience: conversation reveals personality, and personality is what makes content worth reading.

The challenge

Launch Be Noteworthy’s core product during a crowded week of SXSW London events and make an AI interview platform feel immediate, social and memorable. The product is built to draw ideas, stories and opinions out of founders, then turn those conversations into LinkedIn content that retains their individual voice. The launch therefore needed a strong personality at its centre and an experience that encouraged guests to talk.

What we built

We created Tech Bro Henry: a conversational AI character based on Be Noteworthy founder Henry McIntosh. Tech Bro Henry lived inside Polly, our personality-driven AI vending machine, and met guests face to face through its screen. He listened, responded in character and decided whether each guest had talked their way into a drink. The activation transformed the central idea behind Be Noteworthy into a physical encounter. Guests experienced an AI interview driven by a recognisable founder personality, with Polly dispensing a drink at the end of a successful conversation. Homer, our mind-controlled beer-pouring robot, joined the line-up alongside DJs, experimental cocktails and other interactive machines throughout The Pump House courtyard.

The experience

Guests arrived to find Tech Bro Henry waiting inside a vending machine. Each exchange became a small performance for the people gathered around Polly. Guests listened to the conversations, reacted together and stepped forward to try their own approach. When Tech Bro Henry approved, Polly dispensed the drink. Elsewhere, guests used their concentration to pour beer with Homer, explored the other machines and moved between the courtyard, DJs and bar throughout the evening. The technology gave everyone an immediate reason to participate. Tech Bro Henry gave the launch a voice people remembered.

The result

The Power Hour brought 150 guests together for the launch of Be Noteworthy’s core product. A founder’s personality became an interactive AI character. Conversation became the experience. The output was immediate: a drink, a reaction and a story guests could share. Tech Bro Henry gave people an entertaining introduction to Be Noteworthy’s approach while Polly created a natural centrepiece for the evening. The surrounding machines generated conversations, reactions and social content across the courtyard.
