How Sage turned Champagne into the experience everyone wanted to try
What could be more Parisian than Champagne? At Unleash World Paris, Sage used a gesture-controlled Champagne-pouring robot to draw 301 people into an experience that became the talk of the show.

The challenge
Sage wanted to create a sophisticated experience that would stand out among the familiar conference giveaways and give attendees a compelling reason to stop, take part and remember the brand.
What we built
Let guests conduct their own Champagne pour using nothing but their movements.
The experience
Guests stepped up to Matilda and used simple gestures to control the pour. Each attempt turned serving Champagne into a small piece of theatre, giving the audience a reason to watch before taking their own turn.
The result
Across two days, guests took 690 turns conducting their own pours, including senior figures from IKEA, Lloyds and L’Oréal.
What it delivered
Matilda turned a familiar hospitality moment into an interactive brand experience. People stopped to watch, stayed to take part and left with a Sage experience worth talking about and, of course, a glass of cold Champagne.
