How Sage made mind control the prize at Black Tech Fest

The challenge

Sage wanted an activation that could hold its own at Black Tech Fest, draw people into the stand and give them an experience they would not find anywhere else.

What we built

We brought the theme of focusing on your career to life by asking visitors to focus their minds on cracking the vault and claiming a prize.

The experience

Visitors stepped up to MindVault and put their concentration to the test. Their mental focus drove them through three increasingly difficult locks while the vault displayed their progress for everyone watching. Crack all three and the door swung open to reveal the prize inside.

The result

The challenge created continuous queues throughout the event, with 131 visitors successfully unlocking the vault.

MindVault turned an abstract message about career focus into something physical, playful and instantly understood. Visitors did not just hear the message. They experienced what focus could achieve for themselves.
